Vapexit terms of use
Last updated 31 July 2026
Vapexit is an iPhone app made by Serhii Alpieiev. By installing or using it you agree to these terms. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy of the app; where these terms are silent, it governs.
Vapexit is not medical care
The app offers general information and habit support. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a pharmacist or a therapist. Using it creates no clinician–patient relationship of any kind.
Its questionnaires are screening tools, not diagnoses. Its health timeline describes typical patterns in published research, not a schedule your body has agreed to. Nothing in it tells you whether nicotine replacement therapy is right for you — ask a pharmacist or a doctor, who can account for the rest of your health.
If you are in crisis or you think this is a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or a local health service. The app is not monitored and cannot help you in an emergency.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Vapexit on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source of the app except where the law expressly permits it.
Your data
What you log is yours. The privacy policy says what is stored and who processes it. You can export your whole history or delete all of it from Settings → Data, free, at any time, with no subscription and no request to anyone. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Subscriptions
Vapexit's core is free forever and needs no subscription: logging, the counter, money saved, the calendar and past-day editing, the free craving tools, the pledge, the check-in, export and deletion. Vapexit Pro unlocks the tailored notification program, the health recovery timeline, the extra craving tools, the taper plan and check-in history.
| Plan | Length | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vapexit Pro Annual | 1 year, auto-renewing | $39.99 / year | Starts with a 7-day free trial |
| Vapexit Pro Monthly | 1 month, auto-renewing | $6.99 / month | |
| Vapexit Pro Lifetime | One-time purchase | $59.99 | Does not renew, nothing to cancel |
Prices are in US dollars for the United States storefront. Your local price and currency are shown in the app and in the App Store before you buy anything.
- An auto-renewing subscription renews at the end of each period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Cancel or manage a subscription in the App Store: the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- A free trial that you do not cancel before it ends becomes a paid subscription automatically. You are told inside the app when the trial converts, and a reminder is sent two days before it does.
- If you buy a subscription while a free trial from Apple is unused, the unused portion is forfeited, as Apple's rules require.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Request one through Apple's refund process.
- If a price ever changes, Apple asks you to agree before charging the new one; a subscription does not silently get more expensive.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to interfere with its infrastructure, to attempt to reach another person's data, or to submit content that infringes somebody's rights. Access can be withdrawn where these terms are being broken.
No warranty, and the limits of liability
Vapexit is provided as it is. There is no promise that it is free of defects, that it will be available without interruption, that a notification will always arrive, or that any particular result — quitting, cutting down, saving money — will follow from using it. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any decision you make on the basis of information in the app; and total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the app changes. The date at the top moves when they do, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it. A change that reduces your rights will be described plainly rather than quietly folded in.
